Faust

The pacing occasionally lapses into stagnation but the blend of live action, stop-motion work, puppetry and set design creates an atmosphere that’s consistently unsettling. Švankmajer’s surrealist sensibilities and production design give the film a distinctive identity. Watched this at 12:30 a.m. & felt like i was watching it with my sleep paralysis demon.
