La La Land

Okay starting this off I’ve obviously seen this before it might be my favorite movie of all time, minimum top 3. Also drunk and gonna do a little play by play on how I watched it. Starting off I mean just an amazing opening scene just perfect and sets the tone great. I could say this a million times but I’ll just say it now Ryan Gosling and Emma Stones chemistry is genuinely unmatched they are literally perfect together. Staring off with “Somewhere in the crowd” it just hits me some way I love it so much. The scene of Mia dancing so awkwardly while Sebastian is playing music at that pool party it’s soooo cringe it hurts🤣but it’s also awesome. Then proceed forward to the “A Lovely Night” scene where they are dancing together is just so perfect I love that scene so much. Like Sebastian literally told Mia he didn’t know where his car was while helping Mia find hers so that he could spend time with her🥹🥹🥹. Continue forward and he’s just so happy when she succeeding and when she gets her call back. “City of starrrrrrsssss are you shining just for me”. Then she is going out to dinner with Greg and his brother (poor Greg he’s a great guy) but then she goes to the movie theater where Sebastian was 😩literally has me smiling left and right. And then when they are in the theather and hold hands bro I NEED THAT. And they were about to kiss then get interrupted oh my godddddd. They finally kiss in the planetarium and it’s perfection. They look so happy! I should stop right here in the movie shouldn’t I? Side note John Legend did a great job in this movie. Sebastian is also so supportive of her in every scene and I love it so much. When she wants to name his place Seb’s, me watching : NOOOO MURPH NOOO DON’T LET ME LEAVE MURPH NOOO NOOO NOOO💔💔. Continuing and them playing the piano together I mean it’s just beautiful please let this love find me. “I just know I feel so good tonight”🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶straight banger. Seb is so tuff on the Seaboard Grand Synthesizer. Me just sitting here knowing he set up a whole nice dinner for him and her at his house but knowing it’s all gonna go wrong I should probably stop the movie here. Also dude Mia should have just fucking rehearsed while she was on tour with him fuck. I hate to say it but Mia’s is kinda in the wrong she’s changing her thoughts on the situation💔💔. When they say “Since when do you care so much about being liked” then Seb saying “YOUR AN ACTRESS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT” NOOOOOO DON’T DO THIS. When the guy says “Play something you’re a pianist cmon play something” continues to play Mia and Sebastian’s theme bro💔. The people that are auditioning Mia  whispering about how she isn’t good at acting and her hearing about it is so heartbreaking and the fact that Sebastian couldn’t be there oh my it just keeps getting worse. Literally One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Seb gets called and finds out that they r trying to contact Mia for the acting so immediately he shows up to her house honking loudly because he wants her to succeed so bad and she tells him she’s not doing it but he convinces her to because he loves her and wants the best for her and he knew where to find her because earlier she told him “the house in front of the library”. Mias audition of “ The Fools who Dream” holy peak bro it was just so awesome. When they say “I’m always gonna love you” “I’m always gonna love you too”. That hurt. Then the movie says 5 years later. NOOOO WHY IS SHE WITH ANOTHER GUY THATS NOT SEBASTAIN AND WHY DOES SHE HAVE KIDS WITH HIM. The odds that her and her husband are stuck in traffic just like her and Seb were and they go a different way and they goto a restaurant and it’s named “SEB’S” LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME. The moment of realization from Mia when she realized that’s the name of the place when she’s literally the one that told him to name it that bro gut wrenching. Then  when they make eye contact and he said “Welcome to Seb’s” and proceeds to play their theme song oh my god I can’t do this again. The look on their faces when they see each other I actually can’t I’m gonna cry. The remake scene of Seb playing in the restaurant when he usually bumps past her then they actually kiss bro oh my god it breaks me it’s literally perfection I loved that scene so much. Then right after everyone snapping and then them dancing and also J K Simmons snapping and it just shows what their whole life should’ve been and how happy they are in this alternate universe I can’t do this they deserved to be together. Just seeing them happy makes me so happy inside WHY COULDN’T THIS HE THE ACTUAL REALITY THEY ARE PERFECT TOGETHER!!!! IT LITERALLY SHOWS THEM WITH THEIR KIDS dude this is just so heartbreaking I can’t do it. Proceeds to show Mia and Sebastian take the same route Mia and her husband did and the same parallels as her and her husband as Sebastian when the music is slowing down bro I can’t. After it’s over Mia’s husband asking if she wants to stay for another but she’s so heartbroken she can’t do she looks back at Seb right as she’s leaving and the eye contact they make oh my god bro actually the most gut wrenching ending ever I can’t. What an ending I mean holy shit just a great movie I could write a million more pages about this movies but I’ll stop here for anyone’s sake that actually read this review.
