The Batman
Best Batman movie to date by a landslide; cinematography, lighting, and all of the visuals were sights to behold by themselves. In my opinion, the iteration of Gotham in this film was the only version that really captured the griminess and dark nature of the city. Fight scenes were great when there was one, and even though there weren't too many, the film still held up because of its pacing and intriguing story, which, even though the film was almost 3 hrs long, did not feel slow. Some parts were slow-paced, but in a well-thought out sense. The shadow motifs throughout the film were amazing and something I'd been waiting to be used to its full extent in a live action Batman film/series for ages. The actors all delivered excellent performances, not much else to be said there. The riddler was actually pretty scary, which isn't the descriptor many would have come to mind when thinking of "the riddler". Overall a spectacular film that I can't wait to see again!
