This series is a masterpiece if we talk about the technical, the editing, the direction, the incredible soundtrack, the script, and the photography of Emmanuel Lubeski make this miniseries unique. Based on the novel of the same name by Renne Knight that deals with topics such as: *Infidelity The power The obsession The limits of love Revenge* It's all about a journalist who built her reputation by revealing the crimes and transgressions of others. And one day the past begins to reveal itself, which causes his life to gradually fall apart. And all for a revenge plan from someone I'll name later. Everything happens because a young man went on a trip with his girlfriend to Italy but in that his girlfriend has to leave for something important, he will be alone the whole trip, until on a beach he finds a young and very beautiful woman flirting with him, he did not give importance and saw it as an adventure until that moment. So they both ended up making love. Soon he would find out that she was married but he didn't care and wanted to spend his whole life with her and she refused. Then she lets her son play on the beach for a while, she wakes up and her son is in the sea in a small boat she does not know what to do, the young man goes to the child and a crowd arrives that helps them, the young man was still at sea while the child was already safe, she could do something but did nothing. Soon they realize him and go to save him but it was too late. The series revolves around this and the parents of the young man who were destroyed by this event, the young man's mother would write a book portraying the facts and soon her husband would make it public so that the woman's life becomes a total nightmare. About whether the woman deserved what happened I'm not sure about it, it's hard to think about that, no one deserves to live that kind of thing for your past. What is true is that revenge will never reach anything good in this life, no matter how much it seems to go well, everything will eventually go wrong. I have always been against infidelity, I don't care about the context of the situation, infidelity will never be something I consider good or half-hearted, it will always be something bad. Imagine loving someone and finding out the things they did with someone else, it doesn't matter if you know them or not, that's going to feel like a stab in the back, they're basically calling you stupid for believing in that person. In Proverbs 7 it is said that an immoral woman leads a man to destruction and that the house of an adulterous woman is the way to hell. (What I just said can also be vice versa.) That verse fits perfectly with what happens in the series.
