Pariah

As a black masculine presenting girl, I related so much to some of the stuff alike went through. From living in a black Christian household to having to deal with a mother that justifies her homophobia using God's 'word'. I enjoyed every aspect of this film. There wasn't a moment where I wasn't crying. Whether it was bc I related to alike or bc I was crying tears of joy bc I was happy for her, I. Was. Sobbing. This is why I enjoy film. The ability to capture the audiences attention from something as small as relatability. Easy four stars and a half stars. Well deserved too. THIS IS MY MOONLIGHT
