Moonlight

such a beautiful movie. loved the shots and colors so much, but i left feeling a bit unfulfilled. i really liked the first two acts, but i was left a bit disappointed by the third act. i found it interesting how they made his character physically much stronger and he clearly has more influence/power, and the juxtaposition with his strong Atlanta persona and the powerless one around his mother and the quiet, shy self around Kevin was very powerful. I just found it a bit rushed and I wish they explored it further. I found some of the final diner scenes to be a bit a dragged out, but it seemed intentional, and I did love the “Hello Stranger” song scene. One of my favorite songs ever. I’ll definitely be thinking about this for some time though, the Blue/moonlight allegory is such a beautiful one watched w Andrea and @sarahbeckhaus
