Can we just talk about the font first? I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover or the film by its font, yada yada. But, I mean, c'mon. Why that font? And why that pink color? It's so obnoxious and girly and doesn't fit the movie at all. That nitpick aside, this film was mind-blowingly awesome. The best way to describe the progression of this film is to describe the state of his jacket; he begins a nice guy in a clean white jacket and ends a total BA with a dirty, bloody jacket. Performances were great (love Carey Mulligan!), story line was infinitely intriguing. A little romance, but not overpowering or lust-driven. There were some gloriously gory parts. And I loved it.
