Amadeus
The tragedy is that one’s genius is only recognised by a madman who wants to see you lose everything.
This movie was, from start to finish, perfect.
To see Amadeus go utterly mad under his own genius, fueled by a man with Salieri’s syndrome is terrifying and beautifully ironic.
Seeing his body break at the same time is the most heartbreaking thing about the movie.
A man driven by his desire for brilliance breaking under his own genius and the delusions of a friend.
