Blade Runner

Oh my days…. I was so terribly wrong about this film… This is one of the best films ever. I do believe there is a specific way of how you need to watch it, which is at night, preferably if it’s raining to match the atmosphere of the film.  I adore the music in this film. I’m not even sure how to describe it, it just hits such a sweet spot. On rewatch the film is way more entertaining than I remember it being the first time. What I find interesting about the ending is that Roy proves he possesses qualities associated with humanity, by saving Deckard he showcases empathy and mercy. I guess that is kinda the irony of the film, the artificial human behaves more humanly than many of the actual humans. I still can’t get over the fact that I rated this masterpiece a 2 and a half ⭐️ the first time I watched it, and now it’s a perfect 5⭐️. I don’t think I’ve ever switched up on a film to that extent before. Ridley Scott is an absolute legend!
