Obsession
The last time I saw a horror movie at a movie theater, must’ve been in 2019 or something. It definitely feels good to get a real good scare again, because this movie is creepy as hell, very interesting concept and it’s executed incredibly. Truly a great and very memorable performance from Inde Navarrette. I honestly think this might be one of my favorite horror movies ever, like genuinely. It actually creeped me out that much.
Even though the entire movie is very disturbing, I think one of the creepiest moments was when Bear was on his way outside to talk to Sarah, and as he’s trying to leave the bedroom, Nikki speaks to him, but the thing is, it’s the REAL Nikki, while the «other Nikki» is asleep, and she’s begging him to kill her. It must have been terrible for her, considering the real her wasn’t actually into Bear like that. After all, Bear is the villain, he’s the one who cause all of it, and when he had multiple opportunities to make it right, he didn’t. During that entire sequence, I felt like Chris during that one scene in Get Out when he sinks into the chair. Crazy.
This was such a phenomenal experience, I will definitely buy a physical copy of this movie once it releases.
