The Fall

The visuals and storytelling and visual storytelling are just incredible. Like truly out of this world, one of the coolest looking things I’ve ever seen. And so thematically rich with themes of storytelling and childhood and grief. Filled to the brim with so many amazing small details. I can’t completely shake off Lee Pace’s character’s whole “women are gold digging sluts and they’re the reason I’m suicidal” thing but I don’t know. Ultimately I do think the film transcends that. Or maybe it doesn’t! I will gladly rewatch many times to find out
