Crazy how different Christopher Guest looks from Guffman to Best in Show to this.
A Mighty Wind epitomises all the things I love about this set of movies. For one Its hilarious in the way lovingly making fun of your friends is and two, it has a huge heart which I think is a difficult thing to balance in films like these where there's so many moving parts and different characters but this just nails it in every regard. The story between Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara's characters might be one of the most romantic things put to screen while not being too schmaltzy or melodramatic. Perfect movie.
