Daisies

When you apply no meaning to life that's what you get back. Growing and living in an age where insincerity is so prominent, this movie hit HAARRDDD. As a teenager I even struggled to be sincere for a second and it killed me like it does the two characters in this movie. Everything just becomes a malaise of fighting for attention through immature antics and nihilism. It's not fun and this movie as entertaining as it is, isn't either. Daisies feels like watching someone spiraling towards collapse when they're too far gone, nearly a death wish but it reminds you to try take pride in your life and try find purpose as hard as that seemingly is.
