holy shit. HOLY SHIT! I don't even know what to say about this movie. i've been thinking for what to say about this masterpiece and i don't know. The story about a General losing everything for no reason and making it his mission to get in back in ancient rome. It's such a glorious story with the most satisfying action i've ever seen. Russel Crow deserved that Oscar he got and this movie deserves all the praise it has gotten over the year. And i don't like Joaquin Phoenix at all but i can't lie, he was great in this. I'm gonna rewatch it and i'll give you more specifics with that review but this was just a perfect film. I don't know how else to describe it.
