The Batman

PEAK, Robert Pattinson played a great Batman, didn’t think the emo Bruce Wayne would work but it set up the character development very nicely. amazing OST, especially love Batman’s theme, it fits the idea of Batman being “vengeance” to a T, with the bells and drums making it sound like he really is sent to deliver justice. lowkey wish I had watched in the cinema / on a good TV screen because even on an old TV the use of darkness hit hard. the relationship between Jim and Batman was so good, loved what they did with it in this film. sounds like this Batman is separate from the DCU as well, which I think is great, I think Reeves’ Batman could work perfectly as a standalone saga. cinematography went hard, the car chase in the Batmobile had me hyped, and Batman’s character development was fantastic to see. absolute banger and now very excited for the second film
