Dirty Dancing
I'm finally writing a real review for this movie because I rewatched it not long ago and I have yet to truly review it despite the amount of times I have rewatched it.
This movie is one of the greatest films I have ever seen in my entire life. And lets start this out with, yes, I do understand that people see it as pedophilic, because honestly, a little bit with Baby only being 17 and Johnny being 25. BUT we have to take into account that this is based in the sixties and I don't think many people really cared about full grown adults dating children. (I DO NOT THINK THAT PEDOPHILIA IS OK DO NOT GET ME WRONG!!!!!!!!)
Anyways, the chemistry that develops between Baby and Johnny is just chefs kiss it's something that can only be depicted so well one time, and this movie accomplished that. This is truly something hard to get especially when the lead actors don't even like each other off-screen. On top of that, the soundtrack is almost perfect, and She's Like the Wind is one of the greatest songs of all time in my not very humble opinion. This movie is truly timeless, and one of the greats. Nothing will ever live up to this era of film and I will die on that hill.
