Inherent Vice

yeah i think this is one of those rare moments for me where after a rewatch, i downgrade my rating for a film. Inherent Vice looks REALLY great and gorgeous, I can tell you that. And it's a breakup story stuck in a noir setting. But I think those were the only things that made me love this the first time. It's a vibe. But on a rewatch, goddamn. I don't even know if i'm just sleepy or I accepted the fact that this was hard to sit through? Or maybe I watched it sober? It's hard to follow through it all and yes I get it, that's what PTA is aiming for. But this was not it, my GOAT :)) it's not overly bad, but it's not really that amazing pfft. there you go, i'm not gonna pretend that i truly loved this film.
