Superman
my first lengthy review for a superhero film! (it's how much i LOVED this movie)
THIS is how Superman should be portrayed on screen. Full of hope, heart, and kindness.
The ending was warm and made you feel that you're watching the titular hero being who they are, a hero. It's the same way with The Batman (2022)'s ending.
More superhero movies should return to this form of character storytelling. More human so that the action will be a HUGE treat to watch. That's why most of my favorite scenes were the ones where Superman is not fighting.
Lex Luthor was a straight-up villain and it rightfully should be. No redeeming and anti-hero qualities. (*Enough of the Joker-esque villains).

Also, a special shoutout to the song "5 Years Time" by Noah and the Whale! I loved that song for years and it's a delight hearing it in a blockbuster such as this!
Superman (2025) was comic book-y and I am very hopeful for the DCU.
Oh and did I forget?
This film screamed #FreePalestine. 🇵🇸
