Lost Highway
Before writing this, I tried writing my interpretation of this film twice, but ended up deleting what I wrote. However, I arrived to a few conclusions about this film that I believe make sense.
First of all, I think that the second part of the film with Pete is just the imagination of Fred; including Dick Laurent. Secondly, I believe that the highway represents Fred's mind, as he is lost within his own thoughts due to the identity crisis he is experiencing. I want to say more stuff that I believe might be true, but I simply cannot word them.
I just want to say that this is David Lynch's most sophisticated and profound film that I am still yet to understand.
