WALL·E
One thing that i admire about this, that is quite overlooked, is its faith in humanity.
Let me explain, take for a example a movie like Mike Judge's Idiocracy, a movie that also tackles consumerism, this movie seems to perpetuate the idea that all humans (a.k.a. victims of consumerism) are all inherently stupid and only the people in the power can bring change into this world.
Meanwhile you have Wall-E that shows, through its human characters, that anyone who is willing enough can bring good actions towards the environment or any social justice.
It is these kinds of messages that alot of children's media seems to be missing these days
Oh and Wall-E is pretty wholesome too!
