as a diehard fan of the original, and the 70s version, this one is so beautifully done in a way that still honors their predecessors. not only is it absolutely stunning visually, but the horrors of being a woman leave a lasting impression that i carry throughout my day to day. oh ellen, i see myself in you and it haunts me. i adore this movie so much, inject it into my veins please.
