Frankenstein
*"the tide that brought me here now comes to take you away, leaving me stranded"

First impression when I started the movie was : Awesome cast, incredible director, perfect visuals, I'm hoping for a good movie. And it did not disappoint. The script is just great, would it be plot wise, narration and dialogue.
I was flabbergasted at everything they said with how well they said it, everything held so much meaning- I'm shocked. And it had that vibe I was expecting from a novel adaptation, especially a gothic novel.
Jacob Elordi, even though I am not a fan, did an incredible job in his portrayal of the Creature and his acting was just perfect. Needless to say he surpassed every expectations I had.
I was doing homework while watching it, and it's maybe the first time a movie truly made me pause and focus on it just because what was said was SO interesting it just captured my attention every second of it. I adored every minute of this movie, truly.
The story was well told, well done, well shown- EVERYTHING PERFECT.
ALSO HE READ OZYMANDIAS MY FAVORITE POEM EVER (and yes I know they chose it cuz it's Mary Shelley's husband but IT IS my favorite poem ever)
"Rest now, Father. Perhaps now, we can both be human" (hello ?? this is just magical ??)
