Jojo Rabbit

Just wow. THE SHOELACES oh my god. And I feel like Jojo 'stabbing' Elsa and then giving up like..Feels like seeing her bleed made him realise the Jews really aren't different, I guess ? That's what I thought when I saw that scene. Okay actual review : I LOVED IT truly. I think it was really light at the start to show how innocent Jojo was, and the fact his childhood imaginary friend is Hitler does show the manipulation kids went through during the war. I liked how we slowly learnt that his mother was a resistant, I liked Elsa's character and story and how she treats Jojo. In all aspects, I loved this movie and would rewatch. My heart BROKE when we saw his mother's feet in the air- and him trying to tie the shoelaces but couldn't so he just hugged her ankles...Awful and sad and heartwrenching
