Roofman
Man how did this movie get so much better the second time? I’m truly in love with absolutely every aspect of this movie; every shot, every line of dialogue, every instrument in the score, every single cut in the edit, every camera move, every line delivery… everything
At its core it’s a movie about kindness, and how that can absolutely be present in even those who make bad choices. Roofman cares about its characters and the way they see each other. There’s an amazing emphasis throughout in the way we communicate with our eyes (Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst you deserve an oscar) leading to a devastating moment near the end.
This movie is incredible and I’m surprised not more people are thinking the same as me, even though the consensus is that it’s still good!
10/10 this rewatch confirms that for me
