I freakin love the Monsters franchise as a whole. But after rewatching as I get older, I like this one just a tad more. I grew up with both movies but this one holds more nostalgia. The quotes in the movie? Timeless. I say them until this day. The score? Amazing.
Again, I love the Monsters franchise. I also love a good prequel. I wish college was actually like this.
This is a classic movie staple within my family. It holds so much memories. Supposedly the first movie I saw in theaters! (I barely remember). Quotable, funny, awesome soundtrack.
The older you get the more appreciate this film. When I was little the dvd I watched it on was a bootleg 😭 but it all looked the same to me! Eve and Walle are adorable ): also music? Brilliant.
Loooove. This is probably my favorite Toy Story film. The first 3 I grew up on but this one really takes it. Honestly still makes me laugh, Toy Story has some good humor. Rewatching you can also see how much depth these movies have like these toys have feelings😭😭. Overall I just really like this film!
The Toy Story franchise is just too good!! I remember watching this in theaters vividly. The fire scene?? Teared up in the theater. I remember this film so well and I’ve seen it many times over the years and it never gets old tbh! I love the daycare scenes in the beginning, their plan to escape; such a good plot!! It also really hits now being in college & moving states and giving away toys 😭😭.
Let me tell you—Disney/Pixar just knows how to make an animated underwater movie 🙂↕️ this is ultimate nostalgia!! SO quotable lol, the music 😌 silly movie with such depth.
DANG. I forgot how good this movie....I remember watching this in theaters vividly. Seeing it for the first time & being about the same age as Riley really hit. I love how both films can relate to anyone because we've all been there! The animation is so pretty to look it especially in that once scene. I also remember crying in the theater.
Underrated!!! Childhood classic honestly I remember watching it a lot. There is something about early Pixar humor I be LOLing. We need to talk about A Bug's Life more!! It's soo good & for being one of the firsts I think visual wise it still holds up! #ABugsLifeDeferender4Life
Also another family film classic 🫡. This is actually my family minus Jack Jack & the superpowers. I watched this a lot because we always had it downloaded for car rides but it never gets old tbh! And again—the soundtrack is great!
One of Disneys good sequels. Saw this in theaters with my great grandmother and it was her last new movie she saw❤️. I love aquariums!! The animation is so mesmerizing to look at, so realistic! Rewatching it it’s still fun to watch
Watching this film from a young adult perspective, it really hits😭. Tackles mature topics in a way that appeals to both adults and kids. Wade is actually the sweetest #NeedHim.
Beautiful soundtrack. I want to go to Paris so bad. The plot twist? Gets me everytime. I honestly don’t remember watching this as a kid as much I think I watched it when I was like a preteen and it holds up really well!
Growing up I wasn’t too into this movie as much and with the whole hype around it I was okay with it. It’s still such a good movie though!! Watching it again I feel like I was able to understand the plot it was like watching it fully for the first time. And I enjoyed it!! The opening scene is amazing DUH💔. Crazy he did all that for her and learns to start a new adventure; Pixar just knows how to pull the heart strings.
Idk if a 4th movie was needed but I will take one with no compliants! Rewatching I've learned that I LUV the Toy Story franchise, I mean who doesn't. It's honestly not that bad..I think what really gets me is the ending. It kinda feels out of character for Woody but toys can have a change of heart too! Overall it's a good continuation with the other movies especially with including Bo Peep & I can't wait for the 5th one!
Also watching this from an adult perspective, I think they captured anxiety and being that age so well. Dare I say it’s a hidden Christian movie 👀. Inside Out movies perfectly relates to people of all ages because we’ve all been there.
Okay yes I can appreciate this being the 1st Pixar film and the start of the Toy Story franchise because I love it but. This movie is…sad😭. It has good comedic timing but then Buzz goes through an existential crisis and literally almost jumps. And some parts creeped me out as a kid.
When this first came out I reallyyy enjoyed it but watching it fully again; it’s good. But just not as good as I remembered. I looove the Incredibles in general like that’s literally my family irl minus Jack-Jack & the superpowers😂😂 but I think I prefer the first movie a tad bit more! The continuation from the first one is good though, considering it picks up right where it ended.
I remember really liking this when it came out but now…😭 it’s honestly okay. It’s not bad but just not as good as I remember it. It just doesn’t hit as the first one tbh 🚬
Okay soundtrack HITS. I love the representation 😍. The plot twist did get icl. But I honestly can’t relate to it as much as a Hispanic myself. And that’s probably because I don’t celebrate Día de los muertos so that’s my problem.
First time watching! I honestly had no interest in it when it first came out besides the fact Tom Holland is in it lol but I also don’t hear much about this movie. It’s not bad at all, the plot in the beginning really intrigued me especially since I had no idea what this movie was about. But I think it does fall short in the middle; it’s your standard Pixar movie tbh nothing really special about it.
