The ballroom scene where everyone laughed at Elphaba broke me. All she wanted was to feel beautiful, and Glinda copying her dance made it such a bittersweet moment.
As someone who’s felt like an outsider, this hit so hard. Ariana and Cynthia absolutely killed it, and the movie nailed the balance between emotional depth and comedy.
Also Their voices? Unreal. I was in tears by the end. I already can’t wait for part two🫶
