The Shining

I just picked up the new 4K Blu-ray, and the movie is even better than I remember. After playing Silent Hill 🎮 and watching other psychological films and video essays about it, the experience just keeps getting deeper and more rewarding every time. Starting the book made everything click even more, and now I’m really excited to finish it so I can watch the movie again with a fresh perspective 📖✨ Stanley Kubrick is easily one of the best directors I’ve ever watched 🎬. His vision is unmatched, and the attention to detail in every single shot is incredible. Even though I’ve only seen two of his films so far, they’ve already left a huge impact on me. I know that once I dive into more of his work, it’ll only make me appreciate and admire him even more as a filmmaker 🧠🔥
