I have no idea why people love this so much.
The relationship between Connell and Marianne is nothing short of infuriating, and very shallow for the most part.
The actors did their best but the writing was simply weak in my opinion.
The cinematography was pretty nice though, the whole show looks great visually.
It wasn't straight up bad, but I feel like it's overrated and I wouldn't watch it again. 2/5
