Phantom Thread

Hands down one of the best films I’ve ever seen. It’s so aesthetically gorgeous that I want to live inside of it. The production design and wardrobe could be the best I’ve ever seen. It is tasteful and refined yet totally engulfs the viewer. I understand even more now why Daniel Day Lewis is considered the goat. Maybe the best performance I’ve ever seen. I can see and feel every micro expression he has through the full 2+ hours. This felt like remarkably similar to Eyes Wide Shut, albeit less hypnotic and more deferential #relatable
