Contract Killer

Still watching the English dub of this film. At the end of the flick one of the characters says he’s invested the group’s money into Nokia stock, and specifically speculates that it will make them a lot of money in a few years. I find this fascinating because I found out that around the time of the release of both versions of this film he is absolutely correct. Nokia stock skyrocketed in 1999, a year after Contract Killer had its initial theatrical release. Nokia stock then went on a decline. Then, in 2002, the film gets an English dub. Nokia stock then took five years to hit its second wave but peaked at double what it was in 2002 by 2007. I’m shocked that this film was so accurate on its stock predictions!
