“Your mom goes to college.” I love the little things in Napoleon Dynamite the most. The line above, said by Kip in an attempt to insult. The cut between Napoleon asking what bike Pedro has to Pedro answering, suggesting that the two waited and walked all the way outside just for him to answer. The connection between the Dynamites running out of steak to the neighbor farmer shooting the cow in front of a whole school bus of children. It’s the little things that matter in this film. Also, can someone please clarify to me: was Kip catfished? He complains about not seeing Lafawnduh’s full body because she won’t send photos beyond her head but he also doesn’t seem too upset when she visits. Maybe I’m overthinking it.
