I could give this 5 stars for how it was shot alone, love how it stylishly captures LA at night, the ambient city noise, the framing inside the cab, the club shootout, how Vincent and max psychologically challenge each other and how their philosophies clash, but the other listens and even kind of understands. Tom cruise’s charm and Jamie foxx’s cool disposition are really what sell it all - and Vincent’s last line! Love love love  My mom was very distressed watching a movie where tom cruise is not the hero
