28 Days Later

A zombie classic, that changed the zombie movie forever. We went from slow moving zombies to the rage fast moving zombies. It was a new terror, that movies like World War Z built off of. I remember seeing this movie when I was kid, and being so terrified of it. I can say this movie still remains terrifying, and unsettling. I cant wait to check out Danny Boyles, and Alex Garlands return to this now franchise. I have to shoutout the opening scene of Jim played by Cillian Murphy waking up in the hospital. So damn iconic! Just a feeling of being alone, but curious. But then that curiosity turns in fear and anxiety. Also great performances from Cillian Murphy, Brandon Gleeson, Naomi Harris, and Christopher Ecceslton. My only complaints is I don't think the 2nd half with the soldiers competes with the first half. The first half we get to see this crazy new world through Jim's eyes, everything so terrifying. The second half is just a bit less interesting. In the end, go watch yourself a zombie classic!
