Flight

If you haven't seen this movie, please do! Possibly the best zemeckis movie, definitely in his top 3. Denzel is extraordinary in this movie, and you just believe every moment he's on screen. It's about a pilot that has to land a plane that malfunctions, but there is alcohol involved, and what happens from there. Again Denzel is amazing, one of the greatest actors ever! My personal favorite actor of all time. He never wastes a scene in this movie. Also shout to one of the craziest roles ever played by John Goodman. He was just insanely fascinating in this movie. Just loved it lol! This movie is written and directed amazingly! Bravo Robert Zemeckis! My favorite aspect of this movie is how it depicts addiction. How sometimes people have to hit rock bottom before they can get better. I can always relate to these types of movies, because I've had plenty of family members growing up who battled addictions of all kinds. So I appreciate how well it was done in this movie. Also quick shout-out to the soundtrack, but no shock because Zemeckis soundtracks typically are really good! Negatives: I don't really have any to be honest. There's certain aspects I would have liked to see more of, but that's about it. In the end: Just see this movie!!
