Moneyball

Another sports movie return for me! Follows the Billy Beane, story of changing the game of baseball forever. I'm not a baseball fan, by any means but this movie could definitely make you. It's just so interesting, and explains stuff in a way everyone can get it. This might be one of Brad Pitts best movies. He's so great as this guy who runs the Athletics, and just wants to win. So he is willing to adopt a new way of thinking. Think runs, not the players. Think being on base, not the players. He takes in the Jonah Hill, character because he saw something in him. He saw that everyone in that meeting in the beginning was listening to him. Brad Pitt is just perfect as this take no shit, former jock, and now running a team. I just love how this movie shows Billy Beanes conversation with the scouts, and he's telling them there old way is over. Get on board, and get out essentially. That scence is just so dope. We don't always get these behind the scenes type of movies, but we should. They are so damn entertaining. Also Billy Beanes relationship with his daughter was done phenomenally. It's very sweet, and acted very well Negatives: Honestly I just wanted more, not really a negative though. I also know some of the story is dramatized for movie purposes. But I also get sometimes you just have to do that. In the end, it's a different type of sports movie, which for me helps the viewing alot. It opens your eyes to Billy Beane, and what he meant to baseballs future. If your a baseball fan, definitely check it out. Even if you aren't a baseball fan check it out! You won't be disappointed!
