I missed a once in a lifetime opportunity because I fell asleep, unknowingly as well… The OASIS launched in-universe December 8th, 2025 — it was a coincidence that I was about to watch this before I fell asleep. I watched this in theater with my family when I was 10 years old and absolutely loved it then, and I love it even more today. The amount of great references and Easter eggs to pop culture is so fun to take in, especially now that I have a broader knowledge of movies and games. Pacing in this film is incredible it does not feel close to 2 hours long I enjoyed every single minute of this movie. I remember the Roblox RPO and RP2 events, peak times.
