This film is so deeply embedded in our culture and so often referenced that I honestly thought I’d seen it before when I hadn’t. Wild.
Really beautifully shot and a nice little aesthetic capsule of early 2000’s Britain.
My stomach churned a little at the British Army being promised ‘women’ and the sexual assault that followed but it didn’t feel shallow and led to a very satisfying payoff.
Very excited to watch the two sequels now.
