Begin Again
Do you really see what you actually see?
It hurts knowing that we're living in a cruel, cruel world, and it hurts to carry a big vision while watching this. It cuts me open to know that every stranger i pass is carrying a story stitched with their own mistakes, their own beginnings, their own hauntingly happiness.
This movie is both a wound and a healing balm for me personally. It's beautifully filmed that shows us how some people lose, some people start over, some people hold to the last bit of hope they've got. What strung me hard is how pure it feels, there's no spoken dialogue that say life is fair or that human and love always lasts. Instead, it shows a hurtful simple truth. Even when things don't go the way we want, there's still something to hold on to, even in the most tiniest, silliest, mundane way.
It's funny that i have a big faith that there's still a chance to start over, one day. No matter how suffocating life treats us, somehow, someday we'll find a way to get through it, every so often in the most unexpected ways to survive. :)
