Loki
Season 1 -
Jonathan Majors as He Who remains was seriously so good, it is such a shame that nothing will ever come from Kang The Conqueror in the MCU, he definitely wouldve ate up that role. What could have been...
This show made me appreciate Loki a lot more, made me realise how human he was. Obviously he's great in the other stuff but he's always had the exact same arc, here, he actually changes, you learn what he desires, and I love that. That's something I like about all these shows, even the mediocre ones like FATWS, they all flesh out characters that haven't had that much screen time, or introduce and flesh out new characters.
There's honestly nothing wrong with this show, although there's time travel elements, the way they explain how they work make sense. Mobius, and all of the other new Loki's are such well written side characters, Classic Loki's Glorious Purpose scene is one of my favourite scenes in the whole MCU. There's the right amount of episodes and they're all the perfect length, episodes 1, 5 and 6 were my personal favourites. I like how Loki is in love with Sylvie, it's such a Loki thing to do. The CGI is amazing and all of the locations visited are beautiful and unique. The characters actually act like real people, there isnt much of the classic Marvel humour here. The story did meander at points, but that's only for small intervals, the overall narrative is intriguing.
Everything in this show just works.
