Dune: Part Two

This is objectively a better movie then Dune part 1, but if you want objectively go read something else. This book is a great adaptation of the second third of the book, and if that were all I would have no complaints, this might even be in my favorites list. But it’s not it also adapts the ending, not the final third, just the ending. The third third of Dune is my favorite part of the book and it is entirely skipped. This quite frankly makes me incredibly angry for two main reasons, the first being mentioned before which is its my favorite part, and the second being that they are about to adapt Dune: Messiah. This is like if when adapting any other book franchise you just skipped an entire book because Dune is split into 3 books inside of one book. Truthfully it is an insane decision and I it appalls me to this day.
