Dune

WAIT I DONT REMEMBER IT BEING SO GOOD??? i dont know what i was on the last time i watched dune but this level of vision is second to NONE. after reading loads of fantasy over the past 2 years (which ironically doesn’t include dune even though it’s been on my tbr since then), i believe my brain has exploded — in a super fun way — that can pick up and enjoy each political intrigue and action scene in a way i didnt think was possible. every shot was beautifully crafted, i’m pretty sure i annoyed everyone who came with me by constantly getting zoomies whenever the sandworm appeared lmao.  SO HYPED FOR PART TWO AFTER THAT FIRST LOOK!!! cant wait for the paul chani scenes, they weirdly remind me of vin and elend, even though the pairs cant be further apart. i forced 6 people to watch this with me and all of their roads lead into the desert. my job here is done.
