Everyone is kinda making fun of or arguing about the post credits scene with Coogler being an MCU name, but I think post/mid credits scenes can be done artfully like this. Folks are saying it should’ve been part of the film, but to me that does still feel like the film. It’s a celebration of the talent that made this movie in the same way the entire film is a celebration of talent. I understand that Marvel slop treating its post credits scene like a focus testing group has kinda ruined goodwill with the concept but to kinda throw Coogler in there too when it’s a clear extension of all the other ideas at play in this is a little silly. The Coogler flashback/forward is a powerful thing and I think if you’re rolling your eyes at this I think you’ve lost the plot a bit. Overall, a good time. Wish I saw more of those Choctaw Vampire Hunters. They looked badass.
