Before Sunrise
Before Sunrise, like the other two films in the trilogy, is an unconventional romance because of the way it is told.
At first glance, it seems like a very simple film. Everything takes place over the course of a single day, filled with long conversations about death, God, their parents, past relationships, whether the soul exists, and what it means to make something of your life. None of these conversations reaches a clear conclusion; they are all left open, just like the night they share together.
