Planet Earth II

Honestly, I enjoyed this 10x more than the original and I’m not quite sure why. This one as far as I can tell felt a little more busy and showcased a lot of weird and interesting creatures. It wasn’t as slow as the first one basically. I found myself more engaged throughout the whole thing. What really brings this series up as being some of the greatest shit I’ve ever seen though is the jungles and cities episode. Those ones had the coolest shit that I’m still thinking about (I watched the cities one today so who knows). Obviously too I need to give props to the director for this. It’s always wonderfully shot and the work that needs to put in for some of this is gruesomely difficult. I loved this, this shit made me happy, sad, but most of all appreciate the world that I live in and all it’s beauty it has to offer 10/10
