Years and Years

Years and Years has to be one of the most powerful things I’ve seen in a while. Basically takes a whole family throughout the years 2024-2034 and showcases how their minute decisions create the history of tomorrow. Of course, they are much more important than that, but they begin as ordinary citizens where their life changes on a whim. It’s really just clever writing all around with intense character plots wrapped in. It’s immensely engaging (finished in two days) and it makes a surreal futuristic narrative feel possible. As well, many intense emotional moments as well makes this one of the most captivating pieces of entertainment I’ve seen in a while.
