Mars Express

First of all, without a doubt, the animation is just spectacular. The facial expressions were probably a highlight of said animation. It's also very satisfying to watch. Even if you watched on mute and subtitles, you'd have a great time watching how the world moves and how the technology works. The world here is also phenomenal and lived in. I also really like it very rarely stops to explain an idea or how something works. Quite often when new future tech was introduced to me, I had no problem picking up what it was. On here, you're going to see lot of people drawing comparisons to Blade Runner and Ghost in a Shell...and yeah duh it definitely is inspired by those, and other neo-noir. That being said Mars Express stands by itself as fantastic sci-fi neo-noir. There's plenty more perfect about this film (like the writing and characters) but I'd rather you just go watch it already.
