It hides behind a THICK layer or irony but this is unironically, without a doubt, one of the single best action sequences to come from the work of a single man. Jeff Lew, who it’s clear even from this was a vital member of the production of The Matrix, made one of the coolest things to ever pierce the walls of irony that defined the early internet era. Yes it’s gratuitous, yes the dialogue is awful, but this is a staple of the early days of “anyone can make a movie nowadays” in the infancy of the internet culture and I could watch this over and over.
