Metropolis

It’s definitely clear now that German Expressionism IS for me. I think I’d need to rewatch this two more times to formulate into words even my feelings watching this, let alone my interpretation of it. I’m not exaggerating even a fucking little when I say this is more visually stunning than 90% of the movies I’ve seen. The fact that this was made before 1984 was written is just absolutely insane.
