SPOILER ALERT: … Absolutely fucking astounded. Watched this because of CJ Johnson’s recommendation and the first half had me close to dosing off not because of quality but my poor sleep. I assumed it was a movie that had perhaps just resonated with him in some way… when the first event happened. I don’t think I’ve been more awake during a movie or had a more visceral, gut response to a film from purely its quality and mastery. Holy hell. [The spoiler warning is simply because I think everyone should go into this movie without a single shred of knowledge on what it’s actually about.]
