It is clear why this movie won best animated feature. I love the animation and its style. It manages to tell a truly compelling and captivating story with no dialogue and very little context. It’s very beautiful and fun and sad and poignant. And it achieved all of this while being made by a small animation team in Latvia. I think it was excellent and very much deserved its win.
